The bonus pool is a reserved sum of points that accumulate over time (see table below) for all player. This works as a decaying system to separate active players from inactive ones. The mechanics of the bonus pool is as follows: when a player wins he/she will be awarded from the bonus pool points the same amount of points as he/she earnd for the win (i.e. win=10 + 10 from BP =20) doubling the earnd points , but loosing will only deduct points from the BP (i.e. bonus pool= 7, deduction for loosing=10 then -7 from BP and -3 from ladder points). Both awarding and deducting will continue until there is no more bounus pool points left, then ladder points start to fluctuate. Because BP points are granted constantly throughout each season, it can determine who is more active (by spending BP) thus assuming who might be more skillfull. To calculate thisthe system uses the following equation: (Ladder points+Bonus Pool points)-total Bonus Pool points=Adjusted points. The tota BP points can be calculated from the table below: (League and game type) x number of weeks has passed in the season.  A player who spends his/her BP points is more likely to be promoted to the next league.
